Team MARBEL united at last!
This week is ben’s first week in New Zealand. He is over to visit for 5 weeks, as a holiday, with a small matter called Challenge Wanaka in the middle.
I am swimming the 3.8km, Ben is cycling the mid section, 112 miles, and Mark is rounding it all off with a marathon. Should be great fun! I’m so glad I get the easy part! Continue reading “Team MARBEL united at last!”
Colac Bay: I love the sea!
Mark doesn’t quite get it. Well, I thought he didn’t but perhaps he just didn’t realise that its OK to drag me to the sea all the time! I would find any excuse to simply go and sit on a shoreline and listen to the sea. I still constantly keep feeling like I am on holiday all the time, I have never lived by the sea before. Or anywhere near the sea. I have always wanted to, and now I do, I feel like its a dream, that will one day end, like I am on a long holiday or something. Flowers in focus
It seems odd: I bought some daffodils today. apparently spring is coming. Its really weird not knowing what exactly to expect and when. That’s just something I have always taken for granted. National Roast Day!
We have almost freed the house of boxes (into the garage in part!) and it has been a tough week at work. So we decided to go out for Sunday lunch, at a local British style pub. We had not realised it was national roast day so it was rude not to have one!
