Poem: What do you see?

What do you see?
Do you actually see me?
do you just see smiles
And positivity?

Things ache some more

Can’t do what you did before

When did that sneak up, you ask?

Getting old, it’s quite a task.

Do you need a break? From what?

This is a response to a daily prompt I spotted this morning. It’s a poem.

Unexpected $2k bill
Or the wrong end of the stick?
Verbal abuse across the fence
Some folk treat others like pricks.

What bothers you and why?

The best way for me to express this was through poetry.
