#170 Walking, balancing and disability self image

Today’s video covers Thursday through Sunday. I have decided to make them less frequently than daily (every 2-3 days)to ensure better quality content. In today’s Vlog I cover what we’re up to in physio at the moment, the new wheelchair and how I feel about it, plus.. I am still working on the 10 second left leg balance challenge my physio gave me. #121 Banishing excess equipment.. plus back at the limb centre… again!!

Man I’m getting sick of limb centre appointments! The only thing that sweetens them for me at the moment is that I can go and swim at St Clair (but only for another 6 weeks or so because then it closes for winter 😭) but… I made another giant step forward today in the equipment stakes 😎

#95 Dealing with the disabled – done properly

Today was leg day 1/3. Casting this week, test socket next week, actual leg the week after that. But.. I want to give the staff and general public at Dunedin’s St Clair salt water pool a special mention today because this is how to do disability PROPERLY.. in a compassionate, friendly, non segregation all manner. I wish everyone did it this well.
