#226 W12 Waka – Lake Dunstan
I only decided last week to give Waka Ama a go! On the third visit I’m already on a weekend away and I’m on a long distance 20km paddle! They are already asking me if I’m keen on para! Hahaha! Here’s our trip down lake Dunstan today to the floating cafe. Yep, we were a local tourist attraction and nope.. this is not how people normally rock up to the cafe!

Saving the wildlife, living the high life!
This week I have caught and rescued birds (from the clutches of my cats!) found where they hide proper English marmite here, made my first kiwi mince and cheese pie and posted off all my Christmas cards!

The tour of Central
I needed to take dad up to Queenstown, because the scenery is stunning. We also decided to cover some uncharted territory and cover central Otago also, returning to Invercargill through Cromwell and Alexandra.
