I think I really need to go through all the exercises I am likely to use with PT clients and test myself out, because I am surprising myself each time I say ‘I can’t show you this but….’ then actually do it anyway!!

I am someone who likes to work from targets and action plans. That said, I have found the last 4 weeks post surgery really tough, because everyone told me to take it easy and that I needed to give it time for everything to heal to a point where it was safe to move forwards with rehab. Waiting indefinitely is not a strong point of mine!

This whole vascular surgery journey has taught me a heck of a lot about the vascular system that I simply didn’t know before. Having all my previous surgical experience firmly planted in orthopaedics, this has been a roller coaster ride of learning and discovery.
It has now been 3 weeks since my last surgery, and time for a scan and an update on how the graft is doing.
