Bluff hill

IMG_4577Today was mostly a day of tears. It’s been a hard day. Down days, up days, expect that when you move to a new country. I dissappear in a mountain of STUFF that needs to be done, then at other times I feel great. This morning I went to see the real estate people about the house that I am negotiating. I also decided to get some business cards made, what the hell, so many people round here demand them that I may as well start spreading my name about.

Then, because I had an afternoon to spare I decided to go on my own little tramp – Bluff hill. I was sure that some beautiful countryside would make me feel better.

I DROVE to the sign at Bluff this time, then climbed bluff hill to the look out point, a long steep uphill climb of 1 hour, but boy was it worth it, when I was the only person at the summit that didn’t climb out of a car!!

Then I noticed the road: I might have to drive here to and cycle up that hill from the bottom, so that I can say that I have done it.

Beautiful (but windy) views at the top, then the wind picked up and the rain caught me before I had made it back along the coastal path back to the sign. Gorgeous rugged cliffs, amazing to think that There’s nothing out there till the South Pole!!

No matter, apparently rain and wind doesnt stop anyone round here!!
