#66 A funny thing happened at the pool today

Well, sometimes it’s convenient to be disabled, and today was one of those times. It took less than 24 hours to encounter a numpty at the pool who clearly thought that disabled meant less able than everyone else! AAAAND I THOUGHT OF A NEW ONE LINER… he asked me on poolside why my leg had been cut off.. ah.. it was creating extra drag! Here’s what happened next! 😆

1 month post amputation: a catalogue of positives

Today marks 1 month exactly since I elected to have my left leg amputated below the knee. I won’t deny that it has drastically changed my life – for ever. But I wanted to acknowledge the positives that have come out of this.
