Following last weeks council meeting, a Stuff reporter contacted me asking if I would be part of a story the planned to run on the disability parking issue.
Of course, I said yes.
‼️I find it pretty sad that of 2340 badge holders in the city centre alone, only 10 people put a submission in (incl me).
‼️Today I was contacted by a group called disability united, who claim that their campaigning is what forced the council to do the disability parking review.
Yet still, I was the only person who bothered to front up to the council face to face at that meeting. That means the other 9 submissions remain anonymous submissions.
