This weekend we went to the Bill Richardson Transport World, used to be ‘truck museum’ when Dad was here. Back then it was an extensive collection crammed into a few sheds. Now its a true celebration of an incredible family and a man with a fascination for collecting motorised vehicles!
Its quite amazing, the size of the collection, it took us almost 3 hours to walk around. It seemed to me, that for most people with a normal sized pocket, they would have a toy car collection, but here was Bill’s ‘toy car’ collection, but in real life!
I love that they have not knocked the whole lot down, they have built old around the new to make something that is an entire street block in size. Looks a bit different now, hey Dad? 😉 I can’t wait to see what their motorcycle museum will look like.. (still in the planning stages)..
