5 Month update: legs, bikes and fitness progression

It’s been an interesting few weeks to say the least. A lot has happened, a lot continues to happen on this roller coaster that is adjusting to life as an amputee. The main areas I will cover in todays blog are progress the limb centre, the bike shop, work and fitness.

#112 Disability rights rant: why does NZ not have a disability rights act?!

I can’t quite believe this. There’s no act specifically protecting the rights of disabled New Zealander’s, and equally no governing body making sure businesses are acting fairly. What?!?

#103 They are trying to drown me in a sea of form filling!

Just when I thought the stupid damn battles I’m having to get my life back to some type of normal can’t get any worse, someone mails me half a tree in forms and tells me all my previous ones need to wait till I send this one! 😤 I shan’t be beaten, but I could do with a tiny break right now!
