I have physio tomorrow and then work, so I have been instructed to have an easy day. Do you know how hard that was for me!? So I had a wheelchair day – and went to watch some bike racing. šŸ˜

#121 Banishing excess equipment.. plus back at the limb centre… again!!

Man I’m getting sick of limb centre appointments! The only thing that sweetens them for me at the moment is that I can go and swim at St Clair (but only for another 6 weeks or so because then it closes for winter 😭) but… I made another giant step forward today in the equipment stakes šŸ˜Ž

#118 Combatting the mind games: weekend reflection

I feel like I am transitioning into a new phase of the mind games…. I have always relied on the wheelchair and seen the leg as a temporary addition. Now I need to switch those two around, both physically and in my mind. I also reflect on the weekends events… achievements and things to work on next.

#117 Te Anau -2nd event as a para (PLUS BONUS CONTENT)

The more events I do, the less I’ll be nervous, right? I was never nervous of swim events when I had two feet! This is a wee local one, and I also had another go at getting a campsite with disabled access, after a giant fail on my last booking attempt.
