Today I did my first submission to council as part of their public consultation on the proposed disabled taxi parks trial. There were a few firsts for me here:
❗️first time publicly advocating for the disabled community (and also sadly the only one to do so locally)
❗️first time presenting a public submission to a city council
❗️first time doing all of this knowing I was also on a live stream.
