I have learned the hard way that progress when you lose a limb is super slow.. and you can never stop expecting progress. It will come a lot later than you ever imagine.

  1. I always thought you were in a mad rush to get back where you were before the operation, which I thought was reasonable, but it’s hard to do when there’s no real roadmap, and lots of dead ends, and it’s a unique journey in itself.
    I hope the journey has been illuminating, because sometimes it’s better to travel, than to arrive.

    1. It certainly has been illuminating! Hahaha! It’s not like anyone has written a book – the guide how to cope with losing a leg!! Who knows where the road will end, I have stopped worrying about that for now.
