My very own art work.. for the first time I’m selling prints of these 3 pictures (below).
This art malarkey actually started out as a de-stress experiment and I have had so much positive feedback from the few that have been privy to seeing my journal that I have decided to have a go at selling a couple! 🤩
In fact I remember my art teacher at school telling me I was crap at it and go not take it as a GCSE because I would fail! It’s taken me a further 35 years to be brave enough to give it a go.
I started the art journal in an old book I picked up in a garage sale for $5. I actually really enjoy painting over an old book page that would otherwise probably be thrown or shredded! The book is still in one piece, and I’m almost 1/2 way through its re-purposing! Sometimes I completely paint over the page, sometimes the words underneath (or the blank white parts of the page) become part of the art work. I’m having so much fun!
(BTW the page opposite the cat piece is still blank.. Peter suggested I draw what the cat might be looking at on that side… but I haven’t yet decided what that is though 😏)
I have arranged these 3 to be printed A3 size on poster paper. So ideal for keeping the sale price down and you could still easily frame it if you wanted to.
I can post in a poster tube (at the buyers cost)
The very first print copies are expected to be ready in the next few days.
