⭐️ True story… ⭐️
Peter and I were sitting in a coffee shop a few days ago: we each had a coffee and a book.
Group of 3 people sat down at the table next to us. A man who was part of this group turned around to us and said how nice it was to see that we had gone ‘analog’ because usually he sees couples sitting staring down at their phones.
I commented on how I much prefer actual books with actual pages, whereas Peter said analog wasn’t strictly true for me because I write a blog. He asked what it was about. I summarised it in simple terms saying I shared my positive spin on life and people who followed me were not necessarily disabled themselves but did find it motivating and inspiring.
The man went on to say he had a friend who was a film director and he had directed a film which was much the same in its overall message. When he started describing the movie I realised instantly that it was Penguin Bloom [if you haven’t watched it, you simply must]
I left thinking wow, I just met that film directors friend.. but thought nothing more of it.
A few days later that same man spots us sitting having beer at the end of our bike ride. He asked me what the name of my blog was.
