While I sat on the bench in this photo, I wrote this poem this afternoon.
Many layers of land
Mountains, bush, beach and lake
Feint crunch of feet
And a murmur of wind on the breeze
Lapping water, feint ripples
Sun beaming down on crisp hills
Stillness, crickets and birdsong
Make for a peaceful moment in time
