It’s coming up to a year since I elected to have my leg amputated. So my achievements this week are made all the more poignant. The main one being.. racing the actual racing bike – for its very first time!

There are a lot of ways people can be classified as disabled. Did you know that there is a category in the Paralympics for intellectual disability – which includes autism? My disability might be physical and outwardly visible (sometimes) but I discovered something else this week that is an invisible addition to that physical disability.
