D Day: do I get to save the leg?

As you know, we have been round and round multiple surgeries to try and restore the blood flow to my leg, with no avail so far. Last week I was in for a (failed) angiogram. Then we noticed it had started opening up again and worse still, a sudden bleed.

I was asked to come to ED and was then transferred to the vascular hospital 250km away via ambulance.

We needed to get a scan and see what had happened, where the graft was in relation to the infection, and determine if there were any more surgical options left to save the leg.

Here is what happened today.
