Sometimes you just want to give a message, without the sentences, leaving gaps because that message might apply in different guises to other people.. today is one of those days.
Sometimes life doesn’t go to plan
Comes along, and hits you BAM!
All your freedom they just take
All it does is alienate.
At the mercy of the system
All those things they took- you miss them
Nothing at all that you can do
Mental health’s a challenge for you
Free to do whatever you want?
Remember those of us who can’t
And not because we did a crime
But losing a limb feels like doing time.
