Today was all about muscle activation and pain control. I’m determined to not have the same muscle wastage issue as I had post knee replacement. Plus we need a plan for when they turn off the epidural.

I have to be honest, the stress of this really hit me this morning and I kinda came apart at the seams. I’m so grateful for the support of Mark who was there all the way to the theatre doors.
The Ode to the foot: less than 24 hours to go
‘The ode to the foot’. It’s fair to say the roller coaster of emotions is increasing, as we get closer to D day. I don’t think anyone could tell you the perfect way to get your leg chopped off. See you on the other side… finishing today with a poem I wrote specially for the occasion.
