Yes, today was the day that I had to go and collect my leg and take it to be cremated! I also surprised a client (and myself!) and managed to demonstrate a footless plank!

The emotional aspect of my whole limb loss journey is something that I have found harder than absolutely everything else. So it got me wondering.. was this a normal trend? Does the healthcare system account for this in their outpatients support plans, post surgery? I have used scientific research articles from Google Scholar to support today’s Vlog discussion.

Today was the first day I was out and about all day in the wheelchair, multiple socialising opportunities and shopping. Doing this from wheelchair height is a completely new experience for me, and one of my most dreaded (but expected) incidents actually happened today too.
