#228 Why do you have a wheelchair if you can walk?

What a darned good question! This came up today when a teenager with his parents asked me when he saw me lift my chair down some steps because my exit was blocked with barriers. Here’s how I dealt with it.

  1. I find that the average Kiwi is actually quite narrow minded, and they struggle with anything different to what they are doing. Your positive attitude helps to turn this around though, keep it up!
